SHIPPING PAINT & SMALL ITEMS

Postage costs are for UK DELIVERY ONLY. 

​

Postage is charged at:

 

£6.95 for small parcel (1 to 2 pots of paint) 

£9.95 for medium parcel (3 to 4 pots of paint)

​

For delivery of lightweight and heavyweight home accessories please send your address and we will find the best postal company or courier.

​

Orders must be placed before 1pm to be sent the same day. This is not guaranteed and during busy periods may be sent out within 2 working days of ordering. If your order is urgent please contact us direct and we will do our best to accommodate.

 

You can pay online using Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard or PayPal.

SHIPPING POLICY FOR LARGER ITEMS

​

PLEASE NOTE: PRICES VARY DEPENDING ON THE PIECE AND THE DESTINATION. ALWAYS CONTACT US PRIOR TO PURCHASING ITEMS YOU WILL NEED DELIVERED, WITH DELIVERY DETAILS FOR CONFIRMATION OF COSTS.

Once your items have been paid for and the delivery charge agreed, a courier will be booked. They will then contact you directly to arrange a suitable time to make the delivery. The couriers we use take great care with each piece of furniture. On arrival at your home the courier will need a hand to unload your piece of furniture. Usually, the courier works alone. Should you need a two person delivery please let us know when enquiring about the cost as this will affect the price quoted. Our couriers are extremely professional and great communicators, they will keep you informed their estimated time of arrival and any changes that may occur.

Please ensure that items will fit into the intended space before placing your order. Failure of the furniture to fit does not constitute a reason for their return. No items can be delivered or collected until payment in full has been made to Reloved by Jo. Failed deliveries will be charged for at the full rate.

​

Please note this is a one man service and the driver will need a helping hand at your end. The service is to place the furniture through your front door, however the courier may assist you to your required room at his discretion if it is easily accessible.  The courier WILL NOT lift furniture up flights of stairs in flats or deconstruct furniture for access e.g tables and wardrobes. If you do not live in the property and are meeting the couriers, please do not keep them waiting as they run a tight schedule and any delay will have a knock on effect for the rest of the day.

Should you fail to be available once a time is arranged or do not provide adequate assistance and an item is returned, undelivered, you will still be charged for delivery and subsequently re-delivery.

​

I am able to withhold delivery for a period of time if required, for such reasons as waiting to move house or if you are selling an existing piece of furniture. I can store the item(s) for up to 1 month FOC and after that for a fee of £5 per week.

 

COLLECTIONS

​

You are welcome to collect any item in person from The Tractor Shed, Benter, Oakhill. BA3 5BJ. Please arrange a collection time with us prior to setting off. 

​

We require a minimum of 2 days notice for collections.

 

Should you arrange your own courier, please note that from experience some couriers are not diligent and may take insufficient care when wrapping, loading, transporting, storing and unloading your valuable new piece of furniture. Refunds cannot be given for damage which occurs in transit when using a courier of your choice.

 

If you are collecting the item yourself, please measure and check that the piece will easily fit into your vehicle as any damage to individual items during loading will be your responsibility.

FURNITURE RETURNS

​

Hopefully you’ll be delighted with your purchase, however, on occasion we understand that an item may need to be returned.

 

We package furniture items carefully and trust our couriers to handle the goods with care. Please check your furniture on arrival for faults or damage. If you’re not totally happy with your item please call us as soon as possible or within 72 hours of receipt to see if we can rectify the situation on 07717 53538, or email jo@relovedbyjo.co.uk

 

Refunds will not be given because a piece doesn’t fit the space you intended it to fit. Please measure your space correctly before placing your order. Please also consider staircases, doorways and any tight spaces your furniture may have to be manoeuvred through.

Commissioned pieces are not refundable once started. Any materials especially ordered for a project will be charged to you.

​

SMALLER RETURN ITEMS

You need to contact us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, excluding original delivery fees. Please note, the nature of Reloved by Jo is to restyle old furniture which is rarely perfect so if you’re wanting to buy new/perfection pieces this may not be the website for you.

IMPORTANT RETURN INFORMATION

​

You are responsible for covering the cost of returning the item. Please contact us if you need help or advice doing this.

 

Please provide proof of purchase.

 

Please use the original packaging - we can only accept returns with original packaging.

 

Please ensure all items are packaged securely and sufficiently to withstand the journey. Should a piece suffer damage on the return trip you may not be refunded.

 

We recommend that you returns goods using an insured, registered delivery service and keep the receipt. We are unable to accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit back to us.

 

We cannot be responsible for interest charges made by your credit card company whilst waiting for returns to be refunded to your card.

 

You are responsible for ensuring items are returned in a perfectly saleable condition and in its original packaging. Failure to do so may result in Reloved by Jo being unable to issue a refund.

 

We can organise a courier to collect your unwanted furniture items. Please contact us for a collection price.
