A little Bit About Me
A professional upcycler and furniture painter who restyles and upcycles old and much loved pieces of furniture, creating unique items from my studio in the South West. I have a passion for homes, interiors and styling and adore the transformation that can be achieved from upcycling a piece of previously used furniture.
I enjoy searching for furniture and home accessories at markets and auctions in the UK as well buying something a little different from France and Belgium. Furniture that has previously been loved by someone else is appealing to me, it’s nice to own something with a little bit of history.
When it comes to painting furniture my style is ever evolving. I enjoy transforming the use of a piece of furniture and creating something unusual, a talking point for anyone who sees it. Equally, it gives me so much pleasure to take a tired piece and paint it in a style that is classic and timeless.
As well as having a passion for furniture I’m qualified in interior design which has been a passion of mine for years, so choosing colours for furniture and pulling designs and accessories together is a pleasure for me.
After building a good reputation in the North East I relocated to the South West, near to Bath and Bristol, just a few days before the Coronavirus lockdown hit the UK! So things didn't quite go to plan but I'm happy to be here. You'll find me located within the popular Farrington's Farm complex in Farrington Gurney.
Since 2015 I have been lucky enough to make my living working in this creative world of furniture upcycling. When you do something you love, no day is a work day.
I hope you enjoy my furniture transformations as much as I enjoy creating them for you.
